The Society has three major
Choirs of varying age ranges and singing a wide range of music.

YOUTH
CHOIR
For
students Aged 11 to end of Year 12. The Choir provides a widely
varied program of training and performance. Choir Members develop an
interest in the skills of choral singing and in aural musicianship.
This is of great benefit in building self-confidence and in learning
about teamwork. Members make friends with other young people who
share similar interests and all in an atmosphere of fun. We
recognise that many choir members have multiple commitments and we
like to keep performance commitments at a level that makes it
possible to have the best level of participation from members. The
highlight of the year for Youth Choir and Harmonics is the June/July
Holiday activity. This activity involves 100 students with the
Principals rehearsing for two weeks and the chorus for the second
week culminating in two performances at the Empire Theatre

relation to attention and performance. Parents are encouraged to stay
