Our Choral Hall

Our Home officially known as "Choral Hall", came into existence in 1958 after 15 years of renting Church Halls in the City.

Due to the kindness of a local resident we were able to purchase a fine old residence at 68 Neil Street, on very generous terms and so began "Choral Hall" (No 1).

In 1983 we changed our "Choral Hall" base to 5 Bell Street (previously Squash Courts) and then, in 1997, we were fortunate to secure the former Raff Street Uniting Church property and moved to the corner of Bridge and Raff Streets to create "Our Choral Hall" (No 3).

This three-hall Complex, now substantially re-developed to our needs, will serve us well for many years to come.

It is on one level, is very suitable for our small Concerts and comes with a four-bedroom residence, which is our Costume Wardrobe Centre.

A large shed houses our set-building workshop, apart from two other 'props' storage buildings.

We have much for which to thank our present and past Choristers for their untiring efforts to secure such a fine home for the Society.
